• Some hands-on experience or strong interest in Akamai technologies, cloud platforms, or network security
• Familiarity with Firewall policies, DNS/subdomains, and user access management
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced IT security environment
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Proactive, structured, and able to work independently in a remote setting

Your Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Akamai security configurations across multiple business units
• Regularly update Firewall rules, access controls, and other network/security settings
• Manage subdomain structures within Akamai and ensure accurate configuration
• Monitor alerting systems to detect and respond to security incidents swiftly
• Manage user access and account controls within the Akamai Control Center (ACC)
• Assist in preparing and conducting periodic audits and security assessments
• Implement client-specific security configuration requests as needed
• Participate in recurring client meetings, contributing to updates and documentation
• Collaborate closely with Akamai representatives and attend knowledge-sharing sessions
• Advise clients on security best practices and support continuous improvement initiatives
