Senior Researcher - Computer Vision & Deep Learning (Vision + Language)
Hybrid | Full-time | Permanent Up to £115k

A leading AI research centre is seeking a talented Researcher in Computer Vision and Deep Learning to join its Team. The role focuses on cutting-edge Vision and Language research with the goal of publishing at top-tier venues and enabling long-term technology transfer to real-world products.

Research Focus Areas Include:

  • Vision-Language Models (eg CLIP, BLIP, LLaVA)
  • Generative Models (eg Stable Diffusion)
  • Efficient Architectures & Model Compression
  • Scalable Adaptation of Large Models

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct innovative research and prototype new models
  • Publish in leading ML/CV conferences (eg CVPR, NeurIPS, ICLR)
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support technology transfer

Requirements:

  • Strong background in Computer Vision and/or Machine Learning
  • Experience with PyTorch or similar DL frameworks
  • Track record of publications in top-tier venues
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
