Overview:

Our prestigious international London based client requires a experienced Sowflake Developer for a initial 3 month contract.

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Developer to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for developing and optimizing our Snowflake data platform while integrating with various data systems. Ideal candidate will have strong experience in SQL, Python, and working knowledge of Java and modern data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake data warehouses and ELT/ETL processes

• Write efficient SQL queries and optimize data models for performance and scalability

• Build data integration pipelines using Python and other tools

• Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver clean, reliable datasets

• Integrate data from diverse sources (cloud, APIs, third-party systems)

• Apply software engineering best practices (version control, CI/CD, testing)

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture and development

• Advanced SQL skills and query optimization techniques

• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and Scripting

• Familiarity with Java and object-oriented programming concepts

• Experience with data orchestration tools (eg, Airflow, dbt, Prefect)

• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with streaming data (Kafka, Spark Streaming)

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps for data systems

• Background in data security and governance
