Migration Engineer - 1 month Contract - £500/day via umbrella company - Home based - SCC FLEX CONTRACT

We are seeking an experienced Migration Engineer to support a migration project involving Quest on Demand tools. The project includes Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and collaboration platform migrations, along with device rollout coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize Quest on Demand for Active Directory to:
• Create and stage user accounts and groups.
• Perform attribute mapping, SidHistory, and password synchronization.
• Transition accounts to permanent OUs for Entra ID sync.
• Use Quest on Demand Migration to:
• Discover and match accounts.
• Migrate mailboxes, OneDrive, Teams, M365 Groups, and SharePoint sites.
• Implement Quest on Demand Domain Rewrite source domains.
• Execute the migration plan:
• Conduct functional testing and UAT.
• Support pilot and main migration phases.
• Manage daily migration batches, including associated data and services.
• Ensure pre-switchover data synchronization.
• Collaborate across 6 workstreams, including Windows 11 device deployment aligned with user migration.
• Provide flexible support during delivery, including out-of-hours (OOH) work as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience with Quest on Demand tools.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID.
• Experience with mailbox, OneDrive, Teams, and SharePoint migrations.
• Familiarity with Sid History, password sync, and domain rewrite processes.
• Ability to work in structured migration phases (testing, pilot, main).
• Willingness to work flexible hours during critical migration windows.
