Network Engineer/Stagging Engineer (CCNA Level) Engineer- Middlesex

We are recruiting for a Level 1 Network Engineer for a Global Systems Integrator who are expanding their Networking Engineer team. Huge opportunities for career development and large training budget.

CCNA level Engineer/Stagging Engineer required to assist in pre-implementation services. Perform solutions delivery activities for customer success, through demonstrated technical knowledge and skills in Staging, Racking, Stacking and cabling.

The first six months will be spent working in a customer Data Centre in Surrey, thereafter in Middlesex and working on client sites in UK and Europe, where required.

You will need one/two years + experience in these types of Network activities in a Routing/Switching & Data Centre environment.

Conduct staging activities for hardware including:

Receive and unpack hardware from warehouse goods in updating inventories

Apply firmware updates and patches

Perform hardware tests and capture test results

Build laboratory/proof of concept installations in staging area

Re-box hardware for onward delivery from warehouse to customer

Install device configurations as per approved designs

Maintain the staging area to meet best practice levels of tidiness and safety

Perform installation of hardware into customer locations including commissioning and testing
