Data Analyst/Data Engineer (AI)

We are currently seeking an experienced Data Specialist to join a scale-up bank on a remote/hybrid basis. This exciting opportunity will involve helping one of Switzerland's most exciting scale-up banks build out their Data and AI capability, and there is a significant opportunity to work with the latest advancements across Cloud and AI, as well as gain exposure to a variety of different topics across Data Engineering, Analytics, Data Science and AI.

The role requires English language skills, and candidates to be Portugal-based as some travel to their office in Lisbon is required

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and manage our end-to-end data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
• Set up and maintain cloud-based data infrastructure (eg, AWS/GCP/Azure, Snowflake, BigQuery)
• Develop models for credit scoring, fraud detection, customer segmentation, etc.
• Deliver actionable insights through dashboards (eg, Looker, Power BI, Tableau) and reports
• Explore and integrate generative AI where appropriate (eg, chatbots, customer service automation)
• Stay on top of AI trends and tools, bringing innovation into our core processes

Desirable Requirements:

• Experience working in Start-ups or Scale-ups (this role has a wide variety of responsibilities)
• Experience with LLMs or RAG would be a plus
• GCP experience
• Airflow experience would be a plus

The role offers the flexibility of a remote/hybrid work arrangement and is a contract position until the end of the year with a possibility of extension or permanent hire
