Field Service Engineer France (Life Sciences / Nuclear Medicine)

A leading international organisation in the Life Sciences, PET/ Nuclear Medicine, and Radiation Safety sectors is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join its growing team in France. This home-based role involves travel across France and Germany, delivering field service support, technical maintenance, and customer training for a range of specialist instruments and software. It s ideal for candidates with prior field service experience or those transitioning from a lab-based role.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct on-site installations and user training (instruments and software)
• Perform preventive maintenance and qualification (IQ/OQ)
• Diagnose and repair instrumentation
• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support
• Plan and manage field service activities
• Maintain customer communication and support product demonstrations
• Prepare and submit detailed service reports
Essential Requirements
• Minimum 2 years experience with HPLC or liquid scintillation counting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Proficiency in both French and English
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• IT literate and confident with software tools
• Willingness to travel extensively
• Valid driving licence
Desirable/ Optional
• Experience in Pharmaceutical or Nuclear Medicine sectors
• Familiarity with working with radioactivity
• German language proficiency
