AUTOMATION ENGINEER

10+ MONTH CONTRACT +EXTENSIONS

MUST BE ONSITE IN PETERBOROUGH

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH Rockwell Factory Talk, Rockwell Automation and/or Siemens PLCs and SCADA

One of my Top Global Clients in The UK is hiring for a Automation Engineer to join their exclusive implementation/deployment project!

Main Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business management and end users to design value added functionality/capabilities to improve manufacturing efficiency, quality and compliance.
• Ensure that existing and developed solutions are meeting company standards and processes.
• Look after automation systems access process
• Implement and deploy automation solution updates.

Main Skills Required:

• 5+ years of experience with Rockwell Factory Talk, Rockwell Automation and/or Siemens PLCs.
• Ability to dive into pre-existing/operational code to determine its functionality
• Understands automation software development lifecycle and solution support methodologies.
• Experience in Installation and Commissioning, System platform Migrations, Maintenance and Troubleshooting
• Knowledge of SQL and Industrial Communication Protocols
