Salary- £66k (pro rata)

I am currently helping one of my clients through a digital transformation and they need a Data Engineer on a fixed term basis (with a view to permanent)

This Data Engineer role forms an essential part of the Machine Learning team, primarily by building data pipelines and ETL processes to enable the build of statistical machine learning models that deliver benefits from business-challenge led use cases. The role will be a key part of a project to roll out a machine learning solution across the wider group.

What you'll be doing:

• Building and maintaining scalable ETL pipelines for ML model deployment
• Monitoring and optimising data pipelines for performance and reliability
• Mentoring team members on best practices in data engineering

What you'll need:

• Expertise in data ingestion, modelling, warehousing, and scalable pipeline design
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Python, AWS, and BigQuery
• Proven background in delivering robust ETL pipelines and infrastructure as code within in-house teams
• Previous experience in deployment, execution, and operations of automated CI/CD data pipelines
