Workday Integration Specialist - Barcelona - Long-Term Project

On behalf of one of our international client partners, RED is currently seeking an experienced Workday Integration Specialist to support a long-term project engagement.

This role is initially for 6 months, with a strong likelihood of extension upon successful project delivery.

Hybrid work model: The client requires on-site presence in Barcelona 2 to 3 days per week, so preference will be given to consultants located in or near the Barcelona area to facilitate this requirement.

Key Skills and Experience Required:

• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Workday integration development and support, including proficiency with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services.
• Deep understanding of Workday data models, security architecture, and business process framework.
• Proficiency with REST/SOAP APIs, XML, XSLT, JSON, and secure file transfer protocols.
• Solid grasp of system integration best practices and established integration patterns.

Key Responsibilities:

While the focus of the role is on Workday integrations, the position will also involve close collaboration with enterprise architecture teams to ensure alignment with broader systems and technologies.

Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting the architectural strategy and design for SAP landscapes including S/4HANA, BTP, SuccessFactors, and Concur, ensuring seamless integration with Workday.
• Collaborating with the SAP Center of Excellence to translate business and functional requirements into scalable, integrated solution designs.
• Participating in architecture design sessions and providing strategic input on integration, security, scalability, and cloud hosting considerations.
• Overseeing system integration between SAP and Workday solutions with enterprise infrastructure components such as cloud services, network architecture, and identity management platforms.
• Ensuring adherence to enterprise architecture standards and best practices across all integration activities.
