Guidewire Architect; Insurance, Java,Guidewire

Location: London, Work Mode-5 days Office

Permanent/Contract: GBP Negotiable Per/day (Inside IR35)

Responsibilities

• Analyse existing Guidewire systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

• Define and recommend solutions for building systems that operate efficiently across multiple countries.

• Design and implement single instance or multiple instance Guidewire systems based on client requirements.

• Collaborate with business analysts and clients to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of Guidewire systems.

• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the project life cycle.

• Conduct system testing and validation to ensure high-quality deliverables.

• Stay updated with the latest Guidewire technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Guidewire Technical Expert or similar role.

• In-depth knowledge of Guidewire Insurance Suite (Policy enter, Billing enters, Claim enter).

• Strong understanding of system architecture and design principles.

• Experience with multi-country system implementations.

• Proficiency in Java, GOSU, and other relevant programming languages.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Guidewire certification.

• Experience with cloud-based Guidewire implementations.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
