Our client are a top tier consultancy looking for an SC Cleared Business Analyst on a 6 months contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Elicit, analyse, and document user and business needs using Agile techniques (eg user stories, acceptance criteria, journey maps).

• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and engage with users and subject matter experts to gather requirements.

• Translate business problems into measurable outcomes aligned to GDS Service Standard.

• Define and document current and future state business processes.

• Support service design activities, including prototyping and testing.

• Ensure alignment with GDS standards including accessibility, user needs, and service assessments.

• Work closely with delivery and technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented effectively.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within UK Government or public sector digital delivery.

• Deep understanding of the GDS Service Standard, including discovery, Alpha, beta, and live phases.

• Strong Agile experience, working within multidisciplinary delivery teams.

• Demonstrable experience producing key BA deliverables (process maps, user stories, functional specifications, etc.).

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

• Experience supporting digital transformation projects and end-to-end service delivery.

Desirable:

• Experience working with central government departments (eg Home Office, HMRC, DfE).

• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro.

• Background in policy, service design or user research.
