Service Delivery Manager
Job Title: Service Delivery Manager (Temp to Perm)
Location: Greater London
Type: Temporary to Permanent
Rate/Salary: £350-£400 Inside IR35
Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Service Delivery Manager to join our clients team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This role is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual with a background in the public sector, who thrives in fast-paced environments and excels at ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality IT services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the end-to-end delivery of IT services, ensuring alignment with agreed service levels and customer expectations.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the delivery team and stakeholders, promoting transparency and collaboration.
- Utilise JIRA to manage workflows, track service performance, and drive continuous improvement.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and problems effectively and efficiently.
- Influence internal and external stakeholders to ensure service goals are met and to promote best practice.
- Lead service review meetings and provide regular reporting on performance metrics and service improvement plans.
- Ensure compliance with public sector regulations, standards, and governance frameworks.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Service Delivery Manager, ideally within the public sector.
- Strong working knowledge of JIRA and experience in using it to manage and report on service delivery.
- Demonstrable ability to coordinate across teams and influence stakeholders at various levels.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices is highly desirable.
Additional Information:
This role requires 2-3 days on-site. Candidates should be available to start on a temporary contract, with a view to transitioning into a permanent position subject to performance and business needs.
