Data Migration Lead - SAP S/4HANA

We are supporting a major Pan-European S/4HANA transformation programme for one of the largest energy providers in the region. This is a high-profile, business-critical initiative aimed at modernising and streamlining the organisation's financial operations across multiple countries.

As part of this transformation, we are now looking for an experienced Data Migration Specialist to act as the single point of contact for all Treasury-related data migration activities. This role will sit at the heart of the programme's data workstream, coordinating closely with both the business and the migration team to ensure that all relevant Treasury data is accurately mapped, migrated, validated and signed off through each cycle of the programme.

You'll be responsible for making sure the right data gets from Legacy systems into the new S/4HANA platform-cleanly, correctly, and in line with business requirements. This will include owning the data mapping process, supporting IT validation efforts, and driving collaboration with business users to verify outcomes. The scope of data will cover Treasury-specific areas such as bank statements, payments, and cash positioning.

To succeed in this role, you'll need solid hands-on experience with data migration in S/4HANA, a good understanding of Treasury or financial data, and the ability to work confidently across business and technical teams. Strong Python skills are also essential, as you'll be expected to work directly with data and support technical validation.

This is a full-time, freelance role based in either Sweden, Germany or the Netherlands.
