Microsoft Security Analyst - Sentinel, Defender XDR, Threat Hunting, Must be SC Cleared, Remote

A Microsoft Security Analyst (Sentinel, Defender XDR, Threat Hunting, Analytics Rules, SC Cleared) is required by a leading consultancy delivering Microsoft security services into government clients.

Key Skills:

• Strong experience as a Microsoft Security Analyst using Sentinel in a live SOC

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender XDR

• Proven track record in threat hunting & implementing analytics rules

• Current SC Clearance (active and in place)

• Background in an MSSP environment is a strong advantage

This is a fully remote contract role where you'll operate as a Microsoft Security Analyst, focused on day-to-day threat detection, rule tuning, and proactive hunting in Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR. It's a hands-on, operational role - not deployment work.

The successful Microsoft Security Analyst will join a specialist team working on high-profile public sector accounts, where Microsoft security tools are used at enterprise scale.

Contract Details:

• £600/day

• Inside IR35

• 6-month contract, likely to extend

• Fully remote
