Senior C++ Developer - Market Risk

The IT Development Engineers of our client design and develop the next generation of applications. For the Market Risk team we are looking for a C ++ programmer who can convert the risk models into a technical solution to monitor the risk of customers in Real Time (with 16 million trades per day).
The Market Risk team develops services for the risk management of our client and ensures the development and management of applications that provide insight into the (Real Time) risk that customers and therefore also our client will run as soon as the market changes. The client for these applications is the Quantative Risk Management department. Market Risk consists of approximately 16 employees, divided into two agile development teams, with a product owner and a scrum master. Market Risk is part of the Clearing Grid in which business and IT together perform all IT run and change activities for its customers. At Market Risk you work with the latest techniques (Docker, micro-services, NodeJS, soon OpenShift). You are also working on an ambitious roadmap since the risk service is an important reason for many (large) companies to be a customer of our client.
As an IT Development Engineer, you and your team ensure continuous professionalization and quality improvement of IT for the business. You are also responsible for the way IT changes are delivered by the teams and for an IT landscape that is as efficient as possible. High quality code with little risk and responsibility for delivered software are important in this regard.
Knowledge and experience:
- WO working and thinking level with relevant education
- Programmer with 5+ years of experience in Object Oriented languages
- Knowledge of C ++, Bash Scripting and SQL
- Cross skilled in IT areas: user story refinement, (business) analysis, design, development/coding, testing, maintenance
- Knowledge of and experience with Agile (Scrum) and Lean methodologies
- English in speech and writing
- Risk models/mathematics
- Financial services B2B
- IT architecture
