We're hiring a Java Engineer to join a high-impact, fast-paced proof-of-concept (POC) project for a major client in the mobility/automotive services space. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a greenfield initiative aiming to unlock a new opportunity area, with the potential to scale rapidly upon successful validation.

The engagement will run for 6-9 months and requires engineers who thrive in agile, dynamic environments where speed, adaptability, and clear communication are essential.

• Translate verbal or loosely defined requirements into high-quality, working software

• Build and deploy MVPs in an iterative, agile environment

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams in a highly interactive setting

• Contribute to design discussions and technical decisions, balancing pragmatism with quality

Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with Java 11+ and Spring Boot

• Proven ability to design and implement robust REST APIs

• Familiarity with microservices architecture

• Experience with API mocking tools such as WireMock or MockServer

• Solid understanding of unit and integration testing frameworks (eg JUnit, Mockito)

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes

• Exposure to cloud platforms, ideally AWS
