Role: Technical Site Engineer (Supervisor)
Day rate: £350 - £400 OUTSIDE IR35
Duration: 6 months
Location: Varied - expenses covered
Start: ASAP
Skills:
- Ability to interpret and work from complex mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Experience designing and installing mechanical, low-voltage electrical, IT, and network equipment.
- Skilled in managing third-party contractors and site-based teams.
- High attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
Knowledge and Experience -
- Hands-on experience working in industrial environments (eg substations).
- Experience leading or supervising on-site engineers and third parties.
- Experience managing and coordinating installations with multiple on-site stakeholders.
- Experience in the energy and renewable energy sectors, ideally in Scotland.
- Understanding of site health & safety controls and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with operational technologies.
Qualifications -
- Relevant technical qualifications in IT, networking, or mechanical/electrical engineering (eg, HNC/HND, City & Guilds, vendor certifications, or equivalent experience).
- IOSH Managing Safely, CSCS, CCNSG, or equivalent certifications.
- Able to obtain government security clearance.
- Full UK Driving License.
