Support Engineer: Desktop, Windows, Support, Security Clearance - (RL7804)

Our Global Enterprise client is looking for a 2nd Line Engineer to become a part of their team.

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 140 - 240 days (initially)
Pay Rate: £153 p/d (PLEASE NOTE: Employer NI is paid for by the client)
Total Daily Earnings: £171p/d (includes rolled up holiday)
IR35 Status: Inside
Location: Raynesway, Derby

NOTE: Active SC Clearance will be utilised.

Responsibilities:

• Working with the hardware team providing break fix and hardware diagnostics.
• Laptop and desktop builds.
• Working on the Tech Bar on a rota.
• Software BAU working on 2nd line tickets and remote desktop.
• Project experience/Field work experience desired but not needed
• Full UK Driving license and access to own vehicle
• Happy to travel to remote sites across the UK when needed
• Happy to stay overnight when required

Soft Skills:

• Flexible approach and ability to work co-operatively within a newly created team environment
• Should be a self-starter and be able to perform quality assurance and control to create technical deliverables that are error free/with minimal non-functional defects.
• Experience in operationally supporting large, complex technical environment.
• Methodical and structured in their approach to tasks.
• Capability to organise and prioritise tasks
• Strong interpersonal skills to establish/maintain relationships and interact with team members
• Strong organisation and time management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
