Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled MDM Data Engineer to join our growing Data & Technology team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Master Data Management (MDM) solutions, with a strong preference for expertise in Semarchy xDM. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects for a diverse portfolio of clients, helping them design, implement, and optimize MDM platforms that enable business success.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement MDM solutions using Semarchy xDM or similar platforms.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine data requirements for master data domains (eg, customer, product, supplier).

• Configure and customize MDM data models, workflows, match/merge rules, and validation rules.

• Integrate MDM solutions with existing enterprise systems and data platforms.

• Ensure data governance, data quality, and master data consistency across the organization.

• Perform data profiling, cleansing, and migration as part of implementation projects.

• Work closely with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.

• Provide ongoing support, enhancements, and documentation for MDM solutions.

Skills & Qualifications

Required:

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or data management roles.

• Strong knowledge of MDM principles, methodologies, and tools.

• Hands-on experience with Semarchy xDM (preferred), or other MDM platforms (eg, Informatica, IBM InfoSphere, Reltio).

• Proficiency in SQL and experience with data integration tools (eg, Talend, Apache Nifi, Informatica).

• Solid understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and data governance frameworks.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in cross-functional teams.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms (eg, Azure, AWS, GCP).

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

• Data quality or data governance certifications.
