We are proud to partner with a global FMCG leader in their search for a highly driven and detail-oriented ERP PMO to support a large-scale S/4HANA transformation programme in Budapest, Hungary.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the Program Management Office of a multi-country ERP transformation, working at the heart of a dynamic, cross-functional, and multinational delivery environment.

Location:

Budapest, Hungary (Hybrid)
Duration: 8-month contract (extensions likely)
Start: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support all PMO activities including project planning, tracking, reporting, budgeting, risk management, and governance.
  • Coordinate across workstreams to ensure delivery is aligned with program milestones and business goals.
  • Own the program calendar, planning cadence, and support stakeholder communications including steering updates and executive reporting.
  • Support Agile delivery methods (Scrum/Kanban) within a broader Waterfall program framework.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, and team ceremonies alongside workstream leads.
  • Track progress using key Agile metrics (eg, burndown charts) and ensure continuous improvement practices are Embedded.
  • Help drive adherence to program methodology, ensuring consistent use of tools (eg, Azure DevOps, MS Office, project templates).
  • Maintain strong oversight of risks, issues, and dependencies across the transformation roadmap.

Key Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong experience in PMO roles supporting large ERP or SAP programs (preferably in FMCG or manufacturing industries).
  • Solid grasp of both Waterfall and Agile project delivery models; ability to operate within hybrid environments.
  • Proven ability to coordinate across matrixed, multinational teams and third-party vendors.
  • Advanced skills in project tracking/reporting tools (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Azure DevOps, MS Project).
  • Experience supporting organisational change, Agile transformations, or continuous improvement programs.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills in English (Hungarian is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of risk & issue management, progress tracking, and governance reporting.
  • PMO, Scrum Master or Agile certifications are advantageous.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 7+ years of experience within Managerial positions.
  • 2+ years in PMO roles for complex SAP or digital transformation programs.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Familiarity with FMCG operating models or transformation programs preferred.
  • High attention to detail, proactive mindset, and ability to work independently and across functions.
  • Willing to work primarily from Budapest, with occasional travel if required.
