Job Title: SC Cleared Network Implementation Engineer

Salary/Rate: £450 daily (Inside IR35)

Company Introduction

We are currently working with a sector-leading consultancy that has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Network Implementation Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role is part of a strategic data centre network upgrade programme for a high-profile end client, requiring SC clearance and advanced Cisco technology expertise.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

• Lead and support the deployment of new Cisco hardware into data centres.
• Ensure all new equipment is asset tagged, stored, and installed in alignment with expiration schedules.
• Replace Legacy Cisco devices in a like-for-like swap (Nexus, Catalyst, SD-WAN, etc.).
• Collaborate with the Infrastructure Services and Operations team to deliver a seamless transition and ensure minimal disruption.
• Enable monitoring, automation, and secure identity management across the environment.
• Ensure new deployments meet performance, analytics, and security requirements.

Required Skills/Experience

• Cisco DNA (Automation) - Expert level
• SolarWinds (Monitoring) - Expert level
• Cisco ACI (Fabric) - Expert level
• Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine) - Intermediate level
• Cisco FMC (Firewall Management Centre) and Wireless - Intermediate level

Desirable Skills/Experience

• LogicMonitor - Monitoring (Desirable but not essential)
• F5 Proxies - Experience beneficial (Desirable but not essential)
