Back Up & Storage Technical SME - SC Cleared

Whitehall Resources require a Back Up & Storage Technical SME with SC Clearance to work with a key client on a 3 month initial contract.

*Inside IR35.

*This role will involve 20% on site work in London.

*Active SC clearance required and NPPV3 clearance desired.

Back Up & Storage Technical SME - SC Cleared

Role Description:

Storage Role:
. Experienced Enterprise Storage Engineer with recent experience of design/configuration of at least two or more of the following Dell Storage platforms
o Dell PowerStore
o Dell Unity
o Dell PowerScale or Isilon
o Dell ECS
. Experience of configuring Dell (Cisco SAN fabrics).
. Preferably experience of writing low level storage design or configuration documentation.

Backup Role:
. Experienced Enterprise Backup Engineer with recent experience of design/configuration of NetBackup Software solutions.
o Preferably up to NetBackup version 10.x
. Experience of Veritas NetBackup Appliances is desirable (although if candidate has Data Domain experience, then these skills can be transferable).
. Preferably experience or knowledge of Veritas Access platform (or another object storage platform used long term backups).
. Preferably experience of writing low level backup designs or configuration documentation.
. Desirable to have some exposure to Azure backup and Hybrid backup architectures using NetBackup.
