Senior Associate, Vendor Management

Salary: Open + Bonus

Location: Chicago, IL

Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years' technology procurement
• Technology Vendor Management experience
• Experience negotiating and understanding software, hardware and technology professional services and contingent labor vendors
• Ability to extract vendor deliverables and obligations and provide a tracking report
• Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbal, necessary for collaborating with internal stakeholders and vendors
• Proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, Vendor Governance tools such as Sirion, ERP tools such as Oracle Fusion, Contract Lifecycle Management tools such as Ariba or Coupa

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform VM Contract Management activities for assigned vendors/contracts. Manage and oversee contract management processes, meetings and reporting cadences are followed.
• Provide consistent, proactive VM of vendor contracts to ensure VM is executed and measured to manage cost and performance of services, improve capabilities maturity, and optimize value.
• Create effective relationships with key vendors and contract stakeholders leaders to provide for monitoring of company and vendor deliverables and obligations.
• Provide oversight and management to ensure all vendor contracts conform to company and industry compliance, risk management, and other relevant sourcing, procurement, and contracting policies.
• Ensure vendor partner service offerings continue to meet evolving business needs and priorities.
• Develop and maintain positive strategic and operational relationships with vendors and are established and maintained through consistent VM, regular interaction and communication
