Senior Construction Project Leader (Client Side) Heritage Conservation, Listed Buildings - NEC4 Accredited
Location: Hybrid/London sites 2 days per week
12 months plus extension
Outside IR35, Competitive Market Rate
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Leader to oversee high-value construction and refurbishment projects on Grade I listed buildings. This is a client-side role focused on delivering complex heritage projects with a strong emphasis on conservation, compliance, and leadership.
This is a rare opportunity to work on some of the UK's most iconic heritage sites. You'll be part of a collaborative and inclusive team.
About You
You should have experience managing major projects valued over 50 million, particularly within occupied heritage or listed buildings.
A strong understanding of conservation practices, construction standards, and legislation such as the Building Safety Act 2022 is essential.
You will be confident leading teams, managing stakeholders, and delivering successful project handovers. Familiarity with planning and conservation systems, client-side project delivery, and business improvement initiatives is also important.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and MS Project is required. Experience with Aconex and CEMAR is desirable.
Qualifications: You will have a degree in Project Management, Building Surveying, or a related field, and hold chartered status such as ChPP, MRICS, or MCIOB.
You must be an NEC4 Accredited Project Manager with a solid track record of contract administration.
Training in contract management from the Government Commercial College is desirable.
