A leading healthcare client is seeking a Contract Data Engineer to support a critical data integration project. The successful candidate will work on the ingestion and transformation of data from an Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system to an on-premise solution.

Location: Dublin

Rate €500 per day - may be negotiable for right profile

Length: 6 months

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust ETL processes for extracting data from EPR systems.

• Transform and load data into on-premise solutions with a focus on performance and reliability.

• Work with structured (SQL) and semi-structured data formats (XML/JSON).

• Collaborate with IT teams and clinical stakeholders to ensure data integrity and compliance.

• Document technical workflows and processes effectively.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.

• Proficiency in SQL and ETL development.

• Experience working with XML and JSON data formats.

• Familiarity with cloud technologies (any major provider).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage time across a hybrid working environment.

Desirable:

• Experience in the healthcare domain or with Electronic Patient Record systems.

• Knowledge of data governance and compliance in a healthcare context.
