Test Automation Engineer

Hiring: 5x Test Automation Engineers | Sofia | Start Date: July 1st

We're partnering with a leading technology organisation to deliver a major transformation project and are looking for 5 Test Automation Engineers to join the team onsite in Sofia.
This is a unique opportunity to work across both modern React/Java applications and Legacy Mainframe systems, contributing to the test automation strategy of complex, business-critical platforms.

Tech Stack & Skills Required:

• Playwright & TypeScript for end-to-end automation
• Gherkin for BDD-style test cases
• Python & z/Unit for Scripting and unit testing
• Experience automating tests for React/Java applications
• Experience with test automation for Mainframe applications
• Familiarity with Octane as a test management tool

Mainframe System Knowledge:

• Understanding of Mainframe architecture, z/OS, and standard utilities
• Proficiency with JCL, TSO, and ISPF
• Hands-on experience with terminal emulators for Mainframe interaction
• Solid grasp of Mainframe commands and workflows
• Experience using DB2 for querying and data validation

Location:

• Sofia, Bulgaria (onsite presence required)

Start Date:
