Job Description:

We are hiring a highly skilled and motivated Java AWS Developer to join our remote team in Poland. This is a 12-month contract position, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.

As a key member of our Back End development team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust, cloud-native applications. You'll work with the latest technologies in Java, AWS, and containerized micro services, contributing to high-performance, scalable solutions in a distributed environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain microservices using Java 17 and Spring Boot

• Design and implement solutions leveraging core AWS services including:

  • API Gateway, Lambda, RDS, S3, Step Functions, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS

• Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes

• Integrate messaging systems such as Kafka (asynchronous) and gRPC (synchronous)

• Strong experience in Java 17

• Deep knowledge of Spring Boot and microservice design

• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies:

  • API Gateway, Lambda, RDS, S3, Step Functions, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS

• Proficient with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration

• Familiar with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions

• Practical experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and caching solutions

• AWS certification(s)

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment

• Familiarity with performance monitoring tools and logging stacks
