Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant for a remote 6-month rolling contract engagement with a leading multinational in the food & beverage industry. The consultant will support ongoing SAP S/4HANA initiatives, enhancements, and rollouts, ensuring seamless financial processes and compliance with industry-specific standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain the SAP FICO module, including GL, AP, AR, AA, and CO (CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, Product Costing, etc.)
• Collaborate with finance stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Design, configure, test, and deploy SAP FICO solutions aligned with business needs.
• Support month-end/year-end closing activities and financial reporting processes.
• Ensure integration with other SAP modules (eg, MM, SD, PP) and third-party systems.
• Work with key users to identify and implement process improvements and automation.
• Provide day-to-day support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Assist in data migration and user training during rollout phases.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards relevant to the food industry (eg, traceability, cost accounting standards).

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP FICO experience (ECC or S/4HANA)
• Strong knowledge of financial and controlling processes in the food or FMCG industry
• Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA is a strong advantage
• Solid understanding of integration with MM, SD, and PP modules
• Experience with cost center accounting, product costing, profitability analysis (CO-PA)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely with global teams
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in SAP rollouts or global template deployments
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps in the FICO area
• Previous exposure to IFRS, local GAAP, and tax compliance
• Familiarity with the food production supply chain is highly desirable
