Job Title: QA Manager (Contractor)

Location: Geneva/London with travel

Contract Type: 6 months with opportunity to extend

Rate: Up to 700 CHF per day

We are looking for a seasoned QA Manager (Contractor) to lead the quality assurance stream of a major IT transformation, with a specific focus on the implementation of a Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM) platform.

Responsibilities:

• Defining the test strategy,
• Co-ordinating test script creation,
• Test planning and communication to users
• Overseeing test execution across all test phases, defect management
• Communication of test status with senior stakeholders
• Ensuring that all testing processes align with the broader delivery framework

The ideal candidate has experience in the commodity trading industry, preferably concentrates & metals experience, as well as Aspect CTRM experience.

Working closely with project managers, business analysts, and technical leads, you will coordinate the planning and execution of System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Your role will involve developing entry and exit criteria for test stages, managing stage gates, and ensuring that defects are captured, triaged, and resolved efficiently. You will also be expected to develop and execute regression tests where necessary, offering direct test coverage support during high-risk phases.

A critical part of your work will involve collaborating with business stakeholders to prioritise UAT cycles and ensure test readiness. You will work hand-in-hand with the project team and business analysts to align SIT activities with the delivery roadmap. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, as you will be expected to provide regular test progress reports, risk updates, and issue resolution plans.

Key deliverables for this role include a comprehensive test strategy and plan, coordination of SIT and UAT test scripts, execution checklists, and stakeholder-facing test status reports.
