The revised Network and Information Security Directive (NIS2) introduces a unified set of requirements and measures for managing cybersecurity risks, reporting incidents, addressing supply chain vulnerabilities, and promoting cooperation, especially within critical sectors like energy.
The main objectives for our ongoing NIS2 Cybersecurity Programme include:
- Lead and implement a NIS2 compliance programme with clearly defined safeguarding responsibilities from our client's key EU operating markets.
- Plan, design, and execute conformance assessments to understand the compliance situation.
- Provide necessary support and guidance for first line to conduct necessary remediation in the 1st line (eg, local implementation of controls, management, and mitigation of risk).
Your role and key project deliverables:
We are looking for a structured and delivery-oriented consultant for the NIS2 Cybersecurity Programme PMO.
The consultant will report to the PMO lead and play a key role in providing programme transparency, coordination, progress monitoring, and reporting across governance layers and workstreams:
- Support the PMO lead in driving, coordinating and maintaining the existing programme plan, continuously assessing maturity and prioritising further enablement activities.
- Track milestones and activities so progress on critical initiatives is transparent to program management team.
- Prepare reporting, dashboards and documentation for programme management and executive management.
- Provide timely, accurate and standardized reporting to stakeholders on progress, issues and risks.
- Act as a central point of contact for programme updates, issue resolution and governance coordination.
