*SQL DBA SME Architect 6months + Hybrid opportunity.*

RED has now new opportunity for one of our clients is urgently looking for a SQL DBA SME Architect to join a new project, the contract will be hybrid on 6 months contract with extension.

This contract will be hybrid and need an English and German Speaker.

I am looking for a SQL DBA SME Architect with deep experience with Microsoft Azure, Data Studio, DBA

• Job title: SQL DBA SME Architect
• Start date: ASAP
• Initial end date: 6 months + extension
• Work capacity: Hybrid 2 days per week on-side rest remote, Full-time engagement - 5 days/week
• Speak German and English Fluent

Primary skills:

• Understanding customer DB SQL server landscape
• Configuring SQL Server HA/DR (FCI, AG) in Azure with multiple subnets and multiple regions, Availability set
• Configuring and Administering Security/Policies/Resource Governing/Azure Key Vault
• Migrating SQL Server from On-Premises to Azure Cloud using DMA, DMS, Azure Data Studio, Log shipping, Backup & restore and various other migration methods.
• Work with Internal stakeholders, Customer stakeholders and Project Managers to understand the migration requirements and provide solutions accordingly
• Driving the cloud Solutioning Azure activities for large complex migration
• Plan Storage and Capacity Management and create logical models and build physical models
• Installing and configuring SQL Server all the version (200x to 2022)
• Hands on experience on Windows and SQL Servers issues and troubleshooting.

Secondary Skills:

• Design, implement and operate database systems for performance and reliability in Azure
• On-Prem/Cloud upgrade of SQL Server from Legacy version to latest versions in Azure
• Good knowledge in T-SQL Scripting & PowerShell script
• Good understanding of Database Performance using various tools
• Conforming to client compliances and expectations
