Freelance Space Systems Engineer

We are currently partnering with one of the leading players in the European space and satellite industry, supporting their rapid expansion as they shape the future of satellite communications.

They are urgently seeking multiple Space Systems Engineers to join a high-impact mission defining the next phase of satellite technology. This is a long-term, hybrid contract role, offering you the chance to work on cutting-edge space systems with a highly respected organisation in the sector.

You would play a pivotal role in major Space and Satellite communication missions working on budgets analysis and transmitter characteristics. As well as working in key Space missions on the orbital mechanics area.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in systems engineering best practices related to design, verification and validation, conception and specification.
• Experience working in leadership positions as tech lead overseeing projects.
• Great understanding of satellite missions and defining key stages of satellite communication.
• Knowledge of ESA ECSS or similar standards.
• Experience working in major space and satellite projects.
