Operations Analyst
Operations Analyst required by established, blue chip, energy trader. You will be responsible for the reconciliation of derivative positions traded on exchange. Ensuring that discrepancies are resolved in a timely and accurate manner, in line with the business transaction procedures, covering all exchange traded products.
Ideally, you will have prior experience of working in an Operations function of an energy trading environment having worked with trading counterparties and both Commercial and Front Office teams including traders.
Required Experience for the Operations Analyst:
Deep specialisation in derivatives.
Strong credible experience operating in a Trade Support/Reconciliation/Operations role dealing with range of ETD products, to include Futures, (Structured) Options, Swaps and CFD's.
Excellent working knowledge of Clearing/Settlement/Margin payment process, with due reference to IM/VM/OTE Calculation, understanding of exchange/clearing broker statements etc.
Clear understanding of ETD market structures and relationships between key entities, to include Exchanges, Clearing Houses, Clearing & Execution Brokers. Previous interaction with these types of institutions is a key requirement.
