Client Payroll Administrator
We are working with a well-established insurance company that is seeking a Client Payroll Administrator to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate and compliant payroll services are delivered.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver end-to-end payroll services for a varied portfolio of clients (weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annually).
Process new starters and leavers, statutory payments, pension deductions, and RTI submissions.
Ensure timely submission of HMRC RTI information (FPS, EPS).
Prepare and issue P45s, P60s, starter declarations, and other statutory forms.
Act as the first point of contact for clients, handling payroll queries and providing expert support.
Liaise with HMRC on PAYE matters, including setting up and ceasing PAYE schemes.
Ensure compliance with auto-enrolment pension requirements and upload pension data to relevant portals.
Submit BACS files for payment processing.
About you
Previous experience in a payroll bureau or client-focused payroll environment.
Strong working knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC compliance.
Proficiency with payroll software and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
Educated to A Level (or equivalent)
