Employee Relations Specialist (12-Month Contract)

Location: Coventry

Rate: £27.21/hr (Umbrella, Inside IR35)

Are you an experienced Employee Relations professional looking for your next contract opportunity? We're seeking a confident and capable Employee Relations Specialist to join a high-performing team on a 12-month contract.

In this role, you'll manage a broad range of complex employee relations cases, working closely with line managers and key stakeholders to ensure fair, consistent, and compliant outcomes. The Role:

• Manage a caseload of complex ER cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance management.

• Provide guidance and support throughout formal processes, from investigations to hearings and appeals.

• Support or lead absence reviews, disciplinary meetings, and grievance investigations.

• Use a coaching approach to develop and influence line managers.

• Conduct risk-based analysis and recommend appropriate case outcomes.

• Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the business.

• Contribute to team projects and undertake additional duties aligned with the role.

The Person:

• Proven experience managing complex ER cases in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong organisational and coaching skills, with a collaborative and solutions-focused mindset.

• Confident working independently while contributing as part of a wider team.

• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.

• High attention to detail and the ability to make sound, data-informed decisions.

• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
