Junior IT Support Technician
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior IT Support Technician to join our customers growing IT team. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone at the beginning of their IT career. You'll gain valuable hands-on experience while supporting internal users and learning from experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line support to employees for hardware, software, and networking issues
- Set up desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Assist in installing and updating software, applications, and operating systems
- Help maintain and organize IT equipment inventory and documentation
- Monitor and log support tickets, ensuring timely resolution or escalation
- Support the team in maintaining IT security practices (eg, antivirus, password policies)
- Learn and follow IT policies, procedures, and best practices
Required Skills & Attributes
- Basic understanding of computers, operating systems (Windows/macOS), and common software
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and an organized approach
- A positive attitude and customer-focused mindset
