Key Responsibilities

  • Lead operational management of government facilities across multiple sites.
  • Oversee security, maintenance, health and safety, and related support services.
  • Manage contracts and suppliers to ensure service delivery meets agreed standards.
  • Monitor internal performance metrics including safety, cost control, programme delivery, and quality compliance.
  • Develop, approve, and implement technical specifications and safety documentation.
  • Proactively identify and resolve operational issues, ensuring service continuity and compliance.
  • Act as the key point of contact for on-site teams, ensuring communication flows effectively between stakeholders.

What our client is looking for

  • Demonstrated experience in facilities management within a complex, multi-site environment.
  • Strong background in contract and supplier management, ideally within a government or public sector setting.
  • A full, valid UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across multiple sites.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to interpret and enforce compliance with safety, technical, and operational standards.
  • Previous experience working under BPSS or enhanced vetting conditions is desirable.
