Job Opening: SAP Data Migration Consultant - S/4HANA (Cockpit, BODS, BAPI)

Location: Greater Paris area (3 days on-site, rest remote)
Start date: ASAP
Contract type: Freelance/6 month + possible extension
Languages: Fluent French and English required

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled SAP Data Migration Consultant to join a high-impact S/4HANA migration project. You will work closely with business and IT teams on the design, transformation, and execution of data migration processes using SAP Migration Cockpit, BODS, and BAPI tools.

Responsibilities

• Drive data extraction, transformation, mapping, and load processes from SAP ECC to S/4HANA
• Work hands-on with SAP Data Migration Cockpit (DMC), and BODS
• Execute and document migration objects,
• Perform quality checks and pre-load validations using SQL and Information Steward
• Build and manage BAPI/IDoc interfaces for automated load processes
• Support testing (SIT, UAT) and ensure smooth cutover planning and execution
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define rules, validation criteria, and mapping logic
• Provide user support and training documentation where required

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in SAP data migration
• Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP Cockpit (DMC), LTMOM, BODS, LSMW, BAPI, and IDoc
• SAP CS module experience
• Strong SQL skills for validation and transformation
• Experience in both on-premise and cloud (including private cloud) SAP environments
• Strong communication skills
• Exposure to data governance and cleansing tools (eg Information Steward, Syniti ADM is a plus)
• Excellent communication skills in French and English
• Based near Paris, available on-site 3 days per week
