Contract: 3-6 Months
Rate: 350-400 per day (Inside IR35)
Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our team on a 3-6 month contract in Cambridge. This role supports a busy HR function during a critical period and will suit someone with experience in fast-paced environments. The role is hybrid, with a mix of remote and on-site work.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support across all areas of HR, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee records.
Assist with coordination of interviews, issuing of contracts, and right-to-work checks.
Maintain accurate HR databases and employee files.
Support payroll preparation and liaise with finance as needed.
Handle general HR queries from staff and management.
Assist in implementing HR policies and procedures.
Support HR projects and process improvements.
Requirements:
Previous experience in an HR administrative or assistant role.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
Able to manage sensitive information with discretion.
Knowledge of UK employment law and compliance requirements.
Experience working within IR35 contract arrangements preferred.
Additional Information:
This role is inside IR35 and paid via an umbrella company or PAYE.
