Front End Engineering Lead - London - Healthcare
Lead the Front End technology discovery for a unified electronic health/medical record across payer & provider operations (Global & UK) and take a hands-on approach to the implementation of any Front End prototypes that are needed. This role may not require engineering, but does require an individual who can engineer if needed. This role will require excellent technical and business communication skills both written and spoken.

Core Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Senior Technical Architect (EMR/EHR Discovery & Prototype) to ensure FHIR/OpenEHR models are designed for the needs of multiple payer and multiple provider systems.
- Produce Front End design patterns and integration approaches for the implementation of a unified EHR/EMR across multiple businesses.
- Build interactive, code-based prototypes of record-centric components (eg patient overview, care plan, claims summary).
- Support proof-of-concept deployments on cloud infrastructure.
Must-have Experience:
- 4+ years in full-stack engineering for healthcare platforms or EMR/EHR extensions.
- Good knowledge of health-data standards (FHIR R4+, OpenEHR) and ability to translate the impact of these into Front End code.
- Proven Front End mobile engineering: React Native and component-based architectures.
- Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design for complex, regulated domains.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and NHS Digital Service Standard or US Section 508.
- Exposure to identity resolution/master-patient-index concepts.
Nice-to-Have:
- UX design fundamentals: ability to wireframe in Figma or Sketch and translate designs into React components.
- Cloud platform experience-especially Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, Healthcare API).
- Hands-on with data integration tools (Kafka, Mulesoft, Apache NiFi) and event-driven design patterns.
