IT Sales Lead
About the Role
Middleware Talents is a fast-scaling tech company, offering specialised IT services and SaaS solutions. Our current growth is focused on the UK and Ireland, with strong momentum building across the EMEA and the North America regions.
To support this growth, we re seeking IT Sales Lead with a proven track record in net new sales and a deep understanding of the IT Consulting landscape. This is a hunter/closer role where you will own the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching to closing deals. You'll be instrumental in driving growth in a fast-paced start-up/scale-up environment, focusing on staff augmentation and technology services to Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) and Enterprises across various sectors, including Energy, Retail, and Financial Services. You will also identify and pursue sales opportunities in Middleware Talents products.

Key Responsibilities
Own the full sales cycle: from lead generation to closing, ensuring a high conversion rate.
Build and nurture a pipeline of new business opportunities in the UK market.
Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
Navigate complex sales processes in IT consulting and services - particularly in Financial Services, Energy, and Retail sectors.
Collaborate closely with technical teams to translate customer requirements into Statements of Work (SoW).
Contribute to shaping the 2026/27 sales strategy and long-term vision for the business.
Who You Are
7+ years of experience in IT Consulting sales within the UK market.
Proven hunter/closer with demonstrable success in net new sales.
Experience selling staff augmentation and IT services within start-up/scale-up environments.
A self-starter: autonomous, flexible, and comfortable in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
Results-driven, motivated by targets, and thrives under pressure.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills; able to build trusted relationships with C-level stakeholders.
Strong pipeline management and forecasting ability.
