Senior Software Engineer - Warwick (hybrid) - £90,000 per annum

My client, one of the fastest growing companies in the UK, are recruiting for a Senior Software Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The role is hybrid with a couple of days in the office in Warwick required with rest being remote.

As a Senior Engineer you will drive high quality software development at pace into large clients delivering value quickly. This is a key strategic position for the organisation and will play a fundamental & ambitious role in supporting the organisation with achieving their growth objectives and international expansion. The role is approx. 70% hands-on with 30% being more around leadership.

What will you do:
Continually assess and evaluate current technology capabilities, usability, and effectiveness of software development
Develop software for mobile and desktop applications using React, Node or similar.
Utilise AWS cloud technology to deliver CI/CD effectiveness
Help develop best coding practice within the company in areas such as software design patterns and practices, SOA, Microservices, Dependency Injection, test driven development.
Utilise automated testing and monitoring technology
