* Application Developer (Ansible) - Fully Remote - Leading Organisation - 12 Month Contract.*

RED Global are currently partnered with a leading organisation that are seacrhing for an experienced Applications Ansible Developer to support the development of advanced use cases and help elevate our automation platform to the next level.

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience

• Strong proficiency in English, with excellent communication skills

• The following technical expertise:

Required Technical Skills:

1. Proven experience in developing custom Ansible Collections, including modules, plugins, and roles.

2. Expertise in writing Ansible playbooks following best practices, with a strong focus on optimization, reusability, and security.

3. Hands-on experience with the Ansible Automation Platform, including:

   • Private Automation Hub

   • Event-Driven Ansible (EDA) - nice to have

   • Automation Controller

   • Execution Environments

4. Proficiency in Python programming.

Preferred/Advantageous Skills:

1. Ability to develop Ansible test cases and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.

2. Experience with Ansible Molecule for testing and validation.

3. Skills in documenting processes and best practices for Ansible development.

4. Ability to monitor and troubleshoot Ansible automation implementations.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
