Endeavour Recruitment has an excellent long term freelance opportunity for a Workplace Security Specialist, working for a European client.

Initial contract is for 7 months.

Remote working from an EU county. Onsite in Luxembourg will be required once a quarter for a week. Travel expenses will be covered.

Rate: 390 Euros per day

Duties:

• Conducting security risk assessments in Digital Workplace context
• Diagnose potentially complex security-related and/or identity-related issues
• Design implement and support effective solutions for mitigating security risks
• Integrating different security technologies in a complex environment
• Integrating end point security solutions but with knowledge of Back End server and network
• infrastructure
• Provision of security studies associated with information system projects
• Security assessments of information systems

In general, the candidate shall contribute to the evaluation and validation of the service components against the defined requirements and agreed roadmaps, verification and validation of the service, and system integration against defined industry standards and Platform specifications

Required skills and knowledge:

• Very good knowledge of IT Governance processes
• Ability to manage and execute service verification and validation tasks efficiently and fast
• Ability to give business and technical presentations
• Ability to apply high quality standards
• Ability to cope with fast changing technologies
• Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
• Analysis and problem-solving skills
• Capability to write clear and structured technical documents
• Ability to participate in technical meetings and good communication skills

Certifications and standards:

• ITIL certification
• Knowledge of relevant ISO security standards
