Hi All, I'm currently looking for a retail/store allocator-merchandiser to join an exciting project at a global and prominent Fashion & retail client in the Netherlands

In this role you will work closely in squads with the assortment planning and merchandising teams for Direct Stores. You will also collaborate with strategic partners within the organization and store teams.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• Monitor market and store trends to support Merchandising and Assortment Planning in building a strong retail assortment.
• Analyze sales and inventory to improve replenishment and allocation strategies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on pre-season, in-season, and post-season planning.
• Allocate stock based on store targets, capacities, campaigns, and seasonal flows.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting to guide allocation decisions and inform stakeholders.
• Actively participate in trade meetings, identifying supply risks and opportunities, and supporting promotional planning.
• Lead the setup and presentation of Seasonal Kick Off each quarter.
• Manage and deliver cross-functional projects with clear timelines and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Allocation, Planning, assortment, Merchandising, or Buying.
• Commercial mindset with strong negotiation and trading skills.
• Retail experience, ideally in Fashion, Sports industries and retail.
• Proactive, results-driven, and confident in end-to-end communication.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid analytical skills; Excel proficiency required. Tableau, Power BI, or SQL is a plus.
• Strong networking and time management abilities.

• Duration: 6months + with extensions
