For our end client we are looking for a freelance Master Data Management (MDM) Consultant with deep experience in finance & controlling and SWIFT bank-code data. Your main task will be to support the migration teams, provide expertise on financial master data, and ensure seamless alignment between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Tasks:

• Manage and maintain finance and controlling master data, ensuring accuracy and consistency
• Provide expertise on SWIFT bank codes and transaction-related data
• Support implementation of data-governance frameworks to improve master-data quality
• Act as liaison between business users and technical teams for migration solutions
• Assist in requirements analysis and process mapping for master-data systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues related to finance & controlling master data

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of experience in master-data management, focusing on finance & controlling
• Proven expertise in SWIFT bank-code master-data management
• Experience in both functional consulting and technical implementation of MDM solutions
• Hands-on involvement in data-migration projects
• Proficiency with MDM tools and systems (eg, SAP MDG, Informatica)
• Familiarity with project-management tools such as MS Project, Jira, etc.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Project Details:

• Start: ASAP
• Duration: Until December 2025 (extension option)
• Workload: Full time - 3 days onsite in NRW, 2 days remote per week
• Location: Nordrhein-Westfalen (NRW), Germany
• Language: German & English
