We are seeking an experienced Calypso Business Analyst to join our international customer. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of recent hands-on experience working with Capital Markets software, such as Calypso or Murex, and a strong understanding of financial products and market processes. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in gathering requirements, analysing business processes, and ensuring successful system implementation and optimization for our client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering:
• Collaborate with business stakeholders (traders, risk managers, and operations teams) to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for the Calypso platform.
• Define functional and technical specifications for system enhancements or new product implementations.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical documentation.
• System Configuration & Implementation:
• Help to configure Calypso system to meet client-specific business needs.
• Participate in system testing, ensuring that solutions are aligned with business expectations and functional specifications.
• Coordinate with technical teams to support system integration, testing, and deployment of enhancements or new features.
• Stakeholder Communication:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for business users regarding system functionalities, issues, and enhancements.
• Provide regular updates to business users and stakeholders on project status, timelines, and potential risks.
• Support & Issue Resolution:
• Act as a liaison between the business and technical teams during the user acceptance testing phase.
• Assist with the troubleshooting and resolution of system issues, working with both the development team and business users.
• Regulatory and Market Knowledge:
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes impacting the capital markets industry and ensure the system is in compliance.
• Understand key financial products (eg, derivatives, Fixed Income, equity, FX) and market dynamics.

Requirements:

• Experience:
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience working with Calypso or other Capital Markets platforms (eg, Murex, Summit) in a Business Analyst capacity.
• Proven experience working in a capital markets environment, preferably within an investment bank or financial institution.
• Familiarity with financial instruments such as derivatives, bonds, FX, and equities is highly desirable.
• Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable.
• Onsite presence +/- 3 days/week in Bilbao is essential.
