Job Title: Technical Automation Lead

Location: Dublin, Ireland

Contract Duration: ASAP - October 2025

Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Automation Lead with 15+ years' expertise to lead the setup, delivery, and quality assurance of an advanced test automation suite. This role will play a key leadership function in a mission-critical delivery programme, particularly within the payments domain.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and delivery of a robust automation framework.

Define quality assurance standards and drive the creation of feature files.

Provide technical leadership to an automation team across the full test life cycle.

Engage with stakeholders to align quality assurance with business and technical goals.

Ensure integration of chaos testing (Gremlin) into non-functional test environments.

Required Skills:

Deep experience in automation testing frameworks (Java-based).

Hands-on with Java, Selenium, Postman, Cucumber, and Gremlin for chaos testing.

Strong exposure to the Payments/SEPA domain.

Proven ability to lead distributed teams and collaborate cross-functionally.
