Due to their rapid growth, they are now hiring a number of Azure Cloud Platform Engineer roles at their central Birmingham HQ.

  • As the Azure Cloud Platform Engineer, you will join a Platform Team that is responsible for developing capabilities in the company's software platform in order to sustain a high-performance, reliable and scalable cloud-based architecture. This will be Azure based, and you'll work regularly with tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

  • You will work closely with the application development teams, and provide the technology and expert guidance around architecture and the Azure cloud, whilst also assisting teams to develop effective build and deployment pipelines.

  • The organisation conducts unit and integration tests to provide confidence that, with each release, their infrastructure will meet the highest quality standards. You will be aware of business constraints around cost, security and performance in platform design, and have the technical confidence to bring your own ideas and opinions to the table, to both avoid problems, and provide efficient solutions.


As the successful candidate for the Azure Cloud Platform Engineer position, you will be experienced in:

  • Microsoft Azure
  • Docker and/or Kubernetes
  • Powershell
  • C# / .NET
  • SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Infrastructure-as-Code
